 Nice Leather Case

This is a nice leather camera case. Inside dimensions are 2 3/4″wide x 4″long x 1″deep with a slight amount of give. There is a small pocket inside the case to hold an extra SanDisk. It is made of a nice smooth but firm and protective leather which is also smooth on the inside. It is black outside, gray inside, with a magnetic closure. It has a leather-covered velcro patch on the back to attach it to a belt. While the velcro patch seems to be secure enough for most people, I would not recommend it for someone who is doing blue collar type work. It may not hold for an electrician crawling through attics or other such rugged activities. The velcro was likely designed to add some flexibility for belt sizing. I would say for no more than a 1 ” to 1 1/4 ” belt max (preferably 1″). (I would prefer to see a larger and a permanently stitched belt loop.)
Of course, if you have a purse or a guy bag, who cares about the belt loop!

 Not for a Flip but Well Put Together

I got this camera case for my Flip video camera but unfortunately it about a centimeter too small for the Flip to fit. It is also way too small for my digital camera. To give you an idea of the size of the case, it is exactly the size of my iPod Classic but an inch thick. The case is well put together with a leather exterior and felt interior. There is also a very small pouch inside which I assume is for an extra memory card. The magnetic snap is also nice. My one complaint of how it is put together is instead of a clip on the back where you could attach it to a belt it is a Velcro strap which is much less useful than a clip.

 Great for small cameras.

This case is great for small digital cameras. It fits the Canon Powershot S95 & new S100. The case is small and seems well made out of leather. It looks and feels much nicer than many of the other cheap cases available. I have been looking for a nice case for my S95 for a while and have tested at least 5 other cases. Some were made of cloth but this is the first leather case that I found that fits. The price is also right. In a camera or big box store this case would be marked up to over $20. The only grip that I have is that the internal pocket for the extra memory card is small and there is no room for an extra battery. I guess that would make the case bigger and give other something to complain about.
